The design will allow for more content to appear on the site, as well as public and private support forums for only open source products. The shift in focus brings metrofindings.com away from large consulting to more accessible "micro-consulting".

"Micro-consulting is the next big wave that's coming to the IT industry", said Mark Kimsal, proprietor of metrofindings.com. "As more and more open source tools come out, they commodit-ize the market place, but they also put a strain on integration challenges." This micro-consulting will focus mainly on integration of software, chaining or connecting two or more independent pieces of software.

"More and more people are coming to me and asking for help connecting two open source projects, Zimbra to SugarCRM, Magento to Cognifty, LogiCampus to RoundCube." Metrofindings is prepared to offer free support as well. For products like Cognifty and LogiCampus, some degree of free support will be provided.
